Configure networks to ensure smooth and reliable operations for business objectives and processes.
Identify and analyze hardware, software, and network-related problems while documenting anything related to network configuration, network mapping, process, and service records.
Practice network asset management; including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation, and technical specifications information.
Your Knowledge That Matters Most For This Role:
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; OR 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Hospitality, Entertainment, Banking, or a high volume customer-oriented environment Proven experience working with network capacity planning, network security principles, PC and platform operating systems such as Cisco, LINUX, Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, and current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards, including (OSPF, DNS, DHCP, NTP).
Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA), Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE), or other related technical certifications are highly preferred.
